Summer Research

POST NOT FINISHED

Research
I have chosen a few tutorials off of youtube to look at to show the multiple ways of enhancing raw footage in the post production stages.
This video is a short 'music video' advertisement for Adobe, to show what can be achieved using Adobe software.

The before and after split screen helps to show the viewer how much enhancement the footage has actually undertaken. Its completely obvious in this video that effects and colour grading has been used, even if the 'before' split screen wasn't shown.
The use of a Green Screen sharpens the effect and makes it look realistic, without the green screen some of the effects could not be used-  Such as the floating scene.
The lighting of the set is also a key feature, even though the highlights can be added in the editing process, using the lighting on the set will make the shot look more professional and will add natural highlights, so if these were added on in the editing suite the effect of the highlights will still be there but wont look as 'natural' as it does when there is lighting on set, it can also look grainy.
